This comes with experience though and good reads.(which are going to be very hard to do online because of the limited time you have to figure an opponent out). But If you continue to reinforce good habits against these tactics you will notice you won't get spammed and rushed down as much. You will have trouble executing it in match and you will get hit and you will lose alot. I am not that good at sway cancel exec yet so I can not give you advice on that but hopefully what I gave can help in some way.Īlso don't take the just duck and punish stuff lightly. You will know when you come up against one of the ninas that acutally good because you will see this and it will be hard to combat. Ninas bread and butter comes from SS1 and her sway cancel. They also would wait for a low on a kick string and parry and punish. People played distance very well and would CH me. Once I played some good people that new all of ninas strings it got alot harder. Or i would cancel and perform a low kick string etc. When I played her in abit in people that would hunt for launchers on a string punish I would just SSC+2 launch(free damage). Also use distance alot of the time spacing was a good way to help here. Those that end in high duck and punish accordingly. Those that end in a mid you will probably only be able to jab punish or depending on the chracter you MIGHT get a launcher but not likely(if they are being spammed). So take a look at all of her 2hit and 3hit strings. You have to take her in the lab to find these that way you won't end up getting poked out or CH on what you though was duck-able. One of the quirks of her is that moves that look like highs actually hit mid. Take her into the lab and go through a few of her strings. It's like the longer you turtle up the worse you will be because the mind games will come from her sooner or later. She has good options for punish because she has quite a few moves that have priority. Her ss cancel and mix-up options are pretty good. Something to keep in mind for the future. Things that are punishable with some small damage versus Master Raven may end up being launch punishable by Bryan.things like that.
